Okay I have a 2GB USB drive I have Halo on it and it runs great when I hook it up to my laptop. I even put steam on it and ran counter-strike off of it, but sometimes steam takes a while to start up I have to try a few times. I also have Xfire on it. I was wondering is it possible to put MSN on it, without having it installed on the laptop of my harddrive? I have it on my desktop, so I copied and past the folder onto the USB drive, loads uo but when I hit sign in it just closes down, is there a way to get it on a usb drive and run it?

No I have CS:S on my laptop harddrive and CS 1.6 on the usb drive.

not to sure about MS MSN I know miranda IM runs on it's own. You can always try installing on the drive and see.

Well normally I'd point out that this is the exact kind of usage that'll reduce a thumb drive's lifespan by some huge number, but they've gotten better in recent years and a lot cheaper so what the heck.

So anyone know how to put msn on a usb drive?

You could try PixaMSN: http://usuarios.lycos.es/pixador/

Or try http://www.gaim.sf.net if you don't need all the features of "real" MSN (most of which are really just annoyances)
