Just a yes or no question. IS there an attachment that can hook up to USB that converts video and audio wires. Like the yellow red and white ones that are used for dvd players and game systems? Basically all I want to know is if there is a way I can play xbox using my screen as a tv?

There are devices out there. I have seen them in stores like Best buy, Circuit city, etc. But they are mostly for letting people record vhs tapes to their computer, or watch tv on their computer. The problem is for playing a game the quality wouldnt be that great, and there would be a considerable amount of lag (delay time between when you hit a button on your controller and when it shows up on the screen), enough to make most games unplayable.

The device is called a tv-tuner. Th3rm0 is absolutely correct though, you won't want to game through a tuner card, there is enough lag to render you prematurely dead.

Try looking at the Adaptec Gamebridge, inexpensive and works quite well.

I play on my PS2 ob my notebook pretty often, no lag at all.
