Hi, I'm sorry if this has been asked, but i am new to the world of laptops. I was just reading the review on the e1505 and have noticed that there wasn't a parallel port for a printer. How would i go abouts connecting a printer? Is there another type of cable that i would need to purchase?

You can use USB cable. I think most printers in the last few years do have a parrellel port and USB port. If not, there probably is an adpater to go from parrellell to USB.

thanks! have you used a dell printer before? because im debating whether or not to purchase a dell printer, or to buy a canon one? ive owned a canon and loved it, but its slowly dying. so im not sure if i should purchase the dell printer along with the laptop.

I have the 4-in 1 printer by dell, but think it is something else. I haven't taken mine out of the box yet since I have a good printer. I just got that one cause it was free with my system.

I would go with a HP printer or Canon. (Or whatever you like)

Since this way, you can go to a retail store near you, and check the printers and see which ones you like/dislike.

Any printer that says USB 2.0 compatible will work with your E1505
