    I have read a lot of people praising this bag on here. I'm about two seconds from ordering one, but I have a couple questions that maybe someone who has the bag could help with?

    1. How far does it jut out off your back? The dimensions list that it's only 6.5" thick which is much thinner than most. I'm hoping for something that's real thin.

    2. Do the side straps help compact the bag a lot? They look like they are rather high up and wouldn't do much.

    3. Does the mesh pocket on the side hold a nalgene bottle?
