Anyone have any success finding a backpack that fits a 17" widescreen in the padded sleeve? I would think that more and more people are buying this laptop, and that backpacks that can fit the 17 widescreens would be more readily available. They fit, usually not in the padded sleeves/compartments designed to protect the laptop, IMO the purpose for buying the damn things.

I've done some searching, did a search and found some really cool bags(booq is my fav), however some of the bags I have found feedback and tried have a common flaw, while the some of the bags mentioned like the Wenger SwissGear Synergy
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/cu...4193-2257250?ie=UTF8&n=172282#customerReviews

I bought this bag for $39.99.

have some saying the 17"widescreen fit inside the bag, I have a hp dv9207 and it will not fit in the padded sleeve, yet does fit in the other compartment. I have the same complaint with other bags I have bought, but I have found the same issue - it will fit, just not in the padded sleeve.

I have heard of others "modding" the sleeve by "letting" out the corners and allowing the laptop to settle more. I don't know bout all that.

Most of the bags Dell has tho are from Mobile Edge.. so they are nice... Oakley has a nice bag for a 17" but its $140... I have found several bags but the price is always steep. And I read similar reviews about the Synergy so I strayed away from it.
