I have to admit that I am to some extent accustomed to post here and chatter over trifles when I am free and spend a lot time with my gadgets. But there always comes some boring things, such as the low power of ipads and phones. And sometimes I found the usb connectors on my PC is not enough to support my work as convenient as possible. So I searched on Amazon and found a relatively suitable item maybe I can use to solve my issue .

    Amazon.com: Unitek 8 Port USB 3.0 Hub (6 Usb3.0 Ports + TWO 5v 2a Ipad Charging Port) with 12v 4a Power Adapter and Usb 3.0 Cable, Via Vl812 Chipset, Support Windows Xp / Vista / 7 / 8, Mac Os X 10.8.4, Linux: Electronics

Does this item worth being considered as a perfect one?Or some better choice? What will be the prominent performance? It seems that this seller has various kinds of similar products named 'USB HUB". I am afraid I could not make any decision but be attracted by its appearance and price unless you guys give me wise advice. Thanks a lot!

What do you need the hub for? Portable hard drives? Extra accessories? Mouse/Keyboard? The hub you posted would take care of all of it, since it has its own power source and the ichargers. With that being said, if you only need to expand your usb ports for a mouse, speakers, or a single portable expansion drive, I'd recommend this
    Newegg.com - Tek Republic TUH-300 USB 3.0 4-Port Hub

I currently have my mouse, my speakers, my 360 game controller, and a portable 1tb seagate drive plugged in. It runs off the power from the usb 3.0 port, so it does not need its own power adapter.

Sorry .. I have to say that I take a fancy on my post one is because of its adding of two charging ports. I thought it can release me from the trouble of carrying different devices in my bag. I am much impressed by this. There exist many choice if I just need to extend my USB hubs.

Original I would rather to choose the one you mentioned as it has one more port and longer cable. But I have searched out many people criticized its power supply performance. Is it really that its on/off switch does not work correctly ? or have some guys come across the disconnection problem? I dislike alternative choice most.
