I just found a Optoma projector in craigslist which has model no HD2200.
The seller is saying that it has less than 11 hrs of lamp use and in excellent condition. He said that he will give it to me for $350.
I really don't know much about projectors and when I tried to find the current price trend on this one, I couldn't find it. Its like no one is selling them although I saw that projector in Optoma's website.

Can anyone please tell me if its a good deal, if its being sold in US with different model number and any drawbacks of this projector if known?

    Thanks a lot

    Optoma USA HD2200

Looks like an nice projector but you should factor into the price of a new bulb as they can die at any time they are around $100 for that model

If you buy it make sure you always use the power button to turn off the projector as it has a fan to cool it, if you unplug the projector while it is on you can kill the bulb or dramticaly reduce it`s life.

Also projectors can be quite noisy and use quite a bit of power around 300 Watts if you are keeping an eye on your energy bills.
