My Dell XPS m1330 will be arriving next weds and i am looking into buying a notebook cooler. People say The Zalman Cooler is good. But is it suitable for my m1330?
After all, M1330 is only 13.3 inch. Other than Zalman is there any other suggestions?

    Thanks ahead

The width of the M1330 is 31.8cm, the Zalman is exactly 33cm wide. Basically you would have about 0.6cm of spacing on each sides, i would call it as a near perfect fit thou.

Based on this photo, i would say the Zalman is about 90% suitable. Note that there aren't any 100% suitable coolers.

so would the zalman will effectively cool down my notebook ? Esp the palm rest area. I don't need like 100% cool down but at least not burning hot .

The holes area are about 26x15cm wide. Just place your notebook forward by some bits and you should cover the area as well.

Yea, i guess it would cool down the palm rest area by cooling the component that is generating the heat. My notebook is not as hot as before. The HDD (the palm rest heater) used to be 42celcius without the cooler, it is now at 35~37celcius. I would say it works.

The lowest price I've managed to find is at ZipZoomFly, where it's 46.99 USD with free shipping.
