Can the CPU or GPU in the Alienware M11X handle Blu-Ray ??? Just a thought. God Bless :)

That notebook could handle a BD no problem. As well as pretty much any other HD content you may have, without breaking a sweat.

The m11x is classified as an ultraportable, because it's got a full-fledged Core 2 Duo CULV, and dedicated graphics. But it's probably the best ultraportable for gaming bar-none.

I wouldn't call the M11x a netbook. I can't understand how that idea has come about. Definetly an ultraportable, fairly decent spec's in something quite small and portable, even offers decent battery life.

i guess i just considered it a netbook cuz of how tiny it is.

i've been interested in getting a netbook cuz i usually have nicer laptops. i really baby my laptops, so i really hate it when ppl use them and don't treat them like how i would. i hate how alot of ppl touch my screen and leave finger prints all over it. i always have my laptops on a cooler or a stand cuz of their mid-higher grade GPU's. ppl love to just put my laptop on the bed or couches, and i hate that. :(

i was planning on finding the best spec'd netbook i could find and just leaving that in the living room for everyone to use. i'll just leave my laptop in my room or on my desk. do u guys have any suggestions on the best spec'd netbook out right now, or are there any good ones coming out in the near future?

Have a look at the asus eeepc 1201n. It has a true dual core atom and nvidia 9400m graphics, which can play youtube hd no problem. Plus its super thin and light and ships with a 1366x768 screen. I believe they're going for around 499 right now. And btw... you just named some stuff like touching the screen, that irritate me to no end also!
