I see a lot of reviews of the Rival, Maxxum, and Synergy, but Swiss Gear recently rolled out a new line of packs I haven't seen reviews on yet. Some models appear not to be available quite yet. Although the new models don't appear on the Wegner website, the series can be seen on amazon:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_6872602_2?ie=UTF8&docId=1000277031&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=top-1&pf_rd_r=1HCK4PA3AA8QH8A9XG0G&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_p=438686101&pf_rd_i=swiss%20gear

Anyone tried any of the new packs or can anyone point me to reviews of the new line?

The problem with the Swiss Gear messenger bag is that it is not expandable. It is a good-looking bag, though. I considered it but don't need another messenger bag.

I did get the Swiss Gear anthem SLEEVE, though, at Circuit City because it is a good bag to have when I am on the road and attending meetings where I do not want to bring my big laptop backpack. It is big enough for me to stash my Toshiba 13.3 or my HP 15.4 WITH the Zeroshock III sleeve also (the anthem sleeve has a carrying handle whereas the Zeroshock sleeve I keep my puter in does not).

Actually the SwissGear Wired is not new, Sam's has had it for a year and a half at the same price Amazon has it for. I have 2 of those. One for my Dell 1530 which fits great and one for my Dell 1720 which I had to modify to fit. The wired is very similiar to the Synergy with a slightly different pocket setup which I actually like better. I have mentioned the Wired before in other threads because I don't get why people pay 60 to 80 bucks for the Synergy when the Wired can be had for 40 but to each his own. Anyway, the Wired has the same quality and similiar features as the Synergy so most of those reviews would apply here.
Just beware that many 17" laptops will be a very tight fit and may require some modification of the laptop pocket to fit but 15" laptops fit just fine.
