I need a webcam. Its sole purpose in life is going to be skype for when I am out of town. I am debating between the Logitech Quickcam Deluxe and the Pro. This is going to be on my X61 so the Microsoft cam's, even though I prefer there form factor, are out due to them not being able to fit on top of the LCD(at least according to the reviews I have seen). I refuse to buy anything from Creative so they are out as well. I am open to other brands if anyone has any recommendations.
But between the Deluxe and Pro will I notice any difference through Skype? Is it a $20 difference? Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

Too bad you refuse to buy one from Creative, cause they do make pretty nice notebook webcams:

So far I find Logitech and Creative make some of the nicest webcams. -
Q cam Pros are nice. My gf has one. Personally I Use the Qcan AF or somthing simar.. follows you around.
Both use same lens technology as well as the notebook version and have stunning quality -
Every product from Creative I have tried has been plagued by horribe drivers and buggy software. So due to the fitment issues of the MS cams that pretty much just leaves the Logitech products.

Amazon has the Logitech Quickcam Deluxe for $26 after rebate.

My father in law has it and the picture quality through Windows Messenger Live was impressive. -
My mother got a free generic webcam with a pair of contact lenses if that helps
