    Can someone please help me?? I have a acer 3620 and want upgrade from a 256 to somethng larger. I would like to know what is my best option??

    you could upgrade to 1gb as it will help you run vista and is the current sweet spot
    you could try getting 2*512 or 1*1 gb
    as you already have 256 you could swap in 1 gb dimm
