    Mx 1000 or razer diamondback?

    im thinking of getting a new mouse thats portable to carry with my laptop,what should i pick? (using it for gaming too)

    I use the MX1000 on my desktop and have been very happy wiht it.
    I even use it for gaming. I have seen on difference in it and the
    wired logitech mouse I was using.

    For my laptop I use a Logitech wireless model number M-RAA93 and
    really like it also.

    Dont we have to use the base charger thing w/ the wireless for the MX 1000? does that mean if i use it w/ my laptop i have to bring the base charger thing for the mouse to work?

    The only drawback in using a different receiver is that, I cannot use the supplied Setpoint software, which I do not plan to use. However, if so desired, I would just simply plug in the supplied base receiver/charging base to use the said software.

    my MX1000 does not work with the wireless plug in of the other wireless mouse. I think one is infared and the MX1000 is laser. Not sure though.

    dont you think that the razer will be better, from the pics i seen i think it uses USB, much more convenient for people like me who dont have another USB wireless for MX1000

    Absolutely . . . Yes, either the Razer Diamondback or perhaps the Logitech MX510. Actually, word is out that Logitech will be releasing the new MX518.
