    Hey Folks,

I was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction in terms of finding a good MFP color laser printer. My key features include:

    • ADF (Automatic Document Feeder)
    • Duplex
    • Solid Scanning Resolution
    • Low Cost per Page

Obviously it would be preferred if I could get these at a reasonable price (<$800), but if I have to pay more I'm more than willing to do so. Moreover, while I know NBR is a one stop shop in terms of finding information and reviews/thoughts on laptops and accessories if you could suggest some other websites which solely specialize in reviewing and discussing printers that would be great.

Thanks for all your help! :)

Here is a list of all of the printers Newegg has, which fit your description:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010270038+1094919007+1095119023+1096808336&name=Yes

I would only get a laser printer, inkjet and bubble printers are usually ink inefficient and can be very expensive to keep filling.
These laser printers will suit you well:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010270038+1094919007+1095119023+1096808336+1095019018&name=Laser

I would go for either of the brother printers listed:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828113294

    or this one
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828113257

The only difference, is that the second more expensive one can do fax

If you can live without fax, I would go with the first printer. For $535 you cannot beat it.

Aren't the laser cartridges quite expensive to replace?

The toner is a bit expensive, but cheaper than inkjets. A toner cartridge will last about 10-20x longer than an inkjet cartridge. If an inkjet cartridge is $20, than for the same usage, a toner cartridge should be $200-400.
Toner is more efficient and cheaper in the long run.

Here is a link to the toner from Brother's website:
    http://www.brother-usa.com/accessories/Accessories.aspx?Model=DCP9045CDN&ACASCID=12

Its about $45 per toner cartridge, per color.
Keep in mind there are 3 color toner cartridges and one black cartridge

Wow that printer I suggested went up in price by $100. That sucks stupid Newegg.
OP, hopefully when you order your printer, the price will be back down to $535.

Dont forget that some laser printers like Brother also have a Drum cartridge that one must replace every 10 to 12,000 pages. HP and Samsung however, have them built into every toner cartridge. and your looking at yields of up to 2,000 pages.
Oh and it's worth mentioning Quotas, all laser printers will only let you print a set amount per day.
