    Monitor Recommendations?

    I'm looking into getting a new 24" monitor. There's only 2 requirements:

    1. No TN, because it's going to be exclusively used in portrait mode
    2. The stand has to support portrait mode, because... yeah ;)

    As for price, I'd prefer something around $400-$500 but will consider anything up to around $1000 so long as the price tag can be justified.

    U2410 would be good.
    U2711 is nice (have one) but you won't get portait mode without going to a monitor arm and if you get that, you've probably exceeded your price range.

    U2410 seems to be good without going overboard.
