So i am not sure if anyone has posted about this before or if there is a guide to ones to buy or avoid but I wanted to get some more microfiber cleaning cloths. I have 3 small ones that i have from kits and getting ones from devices. I am looking to get some more because i really hate the idea of washing 3 small cloths in a single load (i refuse to wash them with other stuff) I really don't want to take chances with my R4 screen and my u2412m. Anyone know of a good brand? I looked on amazon and zwipes seem good but they are for cars. Also there are some comments saying quality has gone down. Any thoughts?

    Thanks

    HF

I get mine from walmart and my optometrist. the ones i get from walmart are like 15" x 15" You can also hand wash them if you don't want to run them through the washer.

You could also stop by your local Dollar store - they are fairly inexpensive - and pretty reliable. As @Syndrome stated getting from your local Optometrist or Eye Care facility is another inexpensive alternative - a lot of them will give them to you for free if you just ask. Also, BB&Beyond has some nice packages of them - if they still sell them in 3 packs or 10 packs.

Quality? 100% Microfiber works for me. It's how you treat your laptop with the microfiber that counts. Too much pressure by one cleaning the laptop can cause more damage then intended. Personally, I just use my own breath on the screen to clean my laptop w/gentle yet firm pressure with the microfiber clothes.

I also use my ShaggyMac Laptop Screen Protector(s) more often-then-not for cleaning my screen & for protecting my keyboard. Have you seen this thread? http://forum.notebookreview.com/accessories/708757-what-dirt-free-techniques-laptops.html

I have been given a great variety of these cloths but the absolute best for me are the blue ones that came with Panasonic Toughbooks Circa 2007
