Anyway, this isnt a Megalodon Vs Charcarias

Only post if u have used either of these, or both, in the format like this

    Headset: Charcarias/Megalodon
    Sound Quality: 0-10
Looks: They are the same i think

    User Comment:

i do not have a Dedicated audio card, just the audio on the mobo.
I dont know if the charcarias is 5.1 or stereo i have heard both been saiid, IMO i think its stereo as it only has a stereo plug :D

I want Surround sound in a headset, but im unsure of how this works, if someone could enlighten me :D

    I own the Carcharias.

Sound quality is subjective, varying between different people and different things being listened to. Overall, I would give it an 8 for its price range, considering how it performs with both music and sound effects (i.e. games and movies)

As for looks, yes, the Megalodon and Carcharias are almost identical physically. The main difference is that the Razer logos on the Megalodon light up since it's a USB-powered headset.

The Carcharias is a stereo headset, the Megalodon is the 7.1 surround sound version of it.

I ended up winning this headset for free in a Razer giveaway, but I think it's well worth its price. Sound comes through crystal clear, and the microphone is great, according to people I've spoken with through various VoIP programs.

In that case, you might as well get the Megalodon. It's basically the same as the Carcharias, but with surround sound instead of stereo. And since it's USB, it's independent of your computer's own sound card or motherboard audio.

I've used the charcarias, they are comfortable to where but the sound is average. Get the megaldons. The charcarias are just a average stearo headset with a razor logo.
