    Can anyone recommend where to buy one? I've noticed that there are a bunch of different kinds out there so I wanted to know if anyone could narrow the field down for me.

    I should add that we have the Aluminum body Macbook. I guess another question would be we need a cover with the aluminum body?

    Are you looking for a hard case? If you are, then I would recommend the Speck hard case for the Macbook. It's very durable and tough, and has really good protection for your computer. If your looking for a cover that will just keep your computer scratch-proof but not dent-proof, then I'd go with the Invisible Shield by ZAGG. They offer really good scratch protection, and keep your notebook looking brand new. Hope that helps!

    They are all so expensive!! But I suppose they are they worth it......especially with two kids in the house.

    I have read that they have a tendency to crack. So I am still researching them myself.

    You have to be careful since they have to specify which 15 Macbook Pro that they will fit.
