I'm going to buy a Linksys WPC 11 for my HP notebook and notice both version 3 and version 4 are advertised. Version 3 is cheaper generally and I was wondering what the difference is between the two. Is one a newer hardware version or is the version referring to driver or firmware differences? What functionality is different between the two. Just trying to understand more about them so I can make an informed decision for the way I will use it. Thanks

I think the internal hardware is slightly different. I've read where someone tried swapping a v3 & v4 card and found that the drivers were not compatible.
