Right i want to link my laptop to my television by a RCA (3 wires - yellow (video), Red (R-Audio) and White (L-Audio))

I have a vga cable that goes into this RCA combination and when i connect everything up i have a picture (well lots of tiny ones jumping around) on the tv screen. It is my desktop i can make it out from the screen but it is grey, constantly flickering and shows dozens of the same image (basicaly it looks like its on the fritz :p)

i wish to have a mirrored image of my laptop screen is showing but on my TV.

It is a "Phillips 32" Flatscreen LCD" and My laptop is a Compaq V6000.

Anyone with previous experience or knows how to do it (preferable has done it :p) if you could show pics of the setup you have.

steps and procedures would be greatly appreciated.

Also the graphics card shows compatability for multiple monitors.

Thanks in advance :) really want to get it working cuz this chairs doing my back in XD
