L220x is a very good high quality IPS panel. The L222 has a lower resolution and a TN Film panel. L220x also has a better stand than the L222. The L222 has some built in speakers though.

the L222 is not expandable stand like the L220x?

L222 only has 1920 x 1080 as max resolution, anyways all the places i have seen it. the l220x also has a faster refresh rate and ya the stand for the l222 looks pretty basic, as in only up and down movements to adjust, not the expandable one like the l220x. the l222 can do the following:

    Tilt/Swivel Range
    Tilt: Yes, -5-20°
    Swivel: ±90°
    Height: No
    Pivot: No
