    Hey,
This may sound rather stupid to some of you. Can any one tell me what cables I need to connect my laptop to a TV. I have a S-video port on both, my TV and laptop.

For the best quality, you could try looking for a VGA to Component cable, if you have an HD set. Both are far superior to any S-Video for an HD set.

    Good Luck
