Does anybody here use the Juice power adapters available from radioshack? How do they work?

I've used them before, they seem to do the trick just fine.

I use it daily and can't say enough good things about it. It's the perfect travel accessory. In addition to powering a wide variety of laptops, you can also charge various accessories (PDAs and cellphones) at the same time using the PPS cables which plug into the main charging cable you'd use for a laptop. The Juice also comes with car and air adapters. The only caveat is to make sure your laptop is supported, which you can check at the main Igo site. The other thing is some devices are quirky. Example: I have a Toshiba Libretto. If the Toshiba is turned off and I plug in the Juice, it constantly powers the computer on and off. However, if I power up the Toshiba first and then plug in the Juice, it works just fine. Other than that, it is a lifesaver.

Afterthought: While I do like the Juice, Kensington sales the exact same product and web reviews tend to show that the Kensington product is a little less 'quirky' than the Igo Juice.

I second the vote for the Kensington. It works fine with my IBM T42.

I also have a Targus which seems to be the same unit, but will only power my T42 if my PC is powered on when I plug the adapter.

The Kensington does not have these issues.

I have a juice too. Was planning on getting it to consolodate my PDA and cell phone stuff. The peripheral power accessories tend to be a little pricey ($20 for the cable, then $10 for each plug). I discovered USB powering and figure that might be a better choice as the Clie and phone doesn't need to charge that quickly. Also if I go on a trip and don't need my laptop a generic USB AC adapter plus a few light USB power cables (with retractable wires) is both cheaper and lighter for travel.

The Juice would be nice if it came with also plugs for camcorders and digital cameras.

I picked mine up from Ebay for about $55 about a third cheaper than retail.
