Hi all, I picked up an LG W2234S monitor today, and I have got it home and can’t seem to turn it on!

When I connect it to power the blue LED lights up, and is solid for a few seconds then blinks off on off then solid and repeat. My laptop (Dell M1530) detects it, and allows me to extend my desktop onto it, but no picture is displayed.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for any help.

are you powering the monitor from you laptop? or does it have its own power supply (like a plug into an outlet). maybe there isn't enough power getting into the monitor to keep it on.

No, its plugged directly into the wall with an AC lead so I don't think that is the problem.

I have looked in the box and it should have a 3 year on site replacement warranty, so I'm going to try and get in touch with LG.

    Thanks for the input.
