Never thought of looking, but it is 2.5 amps- I am using it and have the packaging. Stupid question- what significance does the rating have?

    I just bought one for $4.20 :)

It is rated at 2.5A, my power adapter says it is 110~240/2.4A into 19V 4.7A

So it'll do the job, nice and compact. good stuff.

Looks like a very nice, and portable, accessory. Unfortunatly, it won't work unless you have a 3 wire in adaptor...
But if it fits, it could potentially save you thousands of dollars... :D

Looks very cool. Your house or where ever your using it at must be grounded properly in order for it to work. Same goes for any surge protector. If you have one for your home and your house is not grounded, its useless.

A GFCI tester can be found at Walmart for about 3 bucks. Most newer homes/hotels are grounded properly.
