I've been looking through reviews of a bunch of headsets and I've come down to either:

    1.) Sennheiser PC141 ~ $27
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106156
I do somewhat like the behind the neck design as doesn't get in my hair but I also dislike it because they have to be more tight or else they will fall off which is really annoying. I also can't stand using headsets which squeeze on my head or ears too hard, but supposedly these don't clamp your ears. However, I have heard they are uncomfortable for people who wear glasses which is bad for me because my eyes get tired from gaming with contacts for too long.
    2.) Turtle Beach AK-R8 ~ $106
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826502009
The only bad thing about this headset is that it's so expensive. However, I love them because they use USB which is great for me since I have an integrated sound card. The provide surround sound with their drivers and I've heard nothing bad about them yet.
3.) Steelseries Siberia full size headset ~ $76
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826249008
This headset also incorporates USB but I don't think it has surround sound. It is also the most stylish of all the headsets I've seen, and apparently has great sound. It's also fairly pricey although not as much as the AK-R8. The only thing I don't like about it is that the microphone is not attached. A problem which I've encountered is that it's not available on Newegg =/
    4.) Just found this one, Creative HS-900 ~ $51
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826158053
It's comfortable according to the customer reviews on newegg, but the only problem is that the mic filtering isn't that great. On the price side, it's pretty average.

(Prices all from newegg and include shipping but not tax)

I also considered the Altec Lansing AHS602i but then I really hate the need for a battery for the "fake" surround sound, and the Sennheiser PC151 but based on a review I read they clamp your head which I find to be really uncomfortable.

Of course, recommendations are always welcome! However, please don't recommend the neckband designs which cover the whole ear because they will get uncomfortable as they are more tight and slide down your ears which is really annoying and also not any noise cancelling ones because I go play with my friends often and I'd like to be able to hear them while we're playhing =]

    Thank you so much!

Sennheiser is a really good brand. They make great headsets.

I have a Creative HS-600 and its good too. It light and pleasant to use for nights of gaming. Sound is very good.

    Dont get Turtle Beach!
They are made out of cheap plastic and break easly at the joints of the speaker and the head rest part.

SENNHEISER are good but can get really unconfi.

I wanted that one but I've heard that it gets kind of heavy on the ears since iit's a neckband and has to clamp onto the ears to stay in place.

As for Turtle Beach, I've never heard such a thing. Maybe I'll go look it up or something but I was under the impression that the AK-R8 had a pretty good build

As to the HS-600, how comfortable is it? I've heard it's not quite as comfortable as other headsets but then again... that really is a matter of personal preference.

I have heard that the Razer Barracuda is good as well.

    Am I mistaken?

Haha, you have a list of completely diff. headsets, If it were me I would pick up a Razer Barracuda or a Creative Fatal1ty, those are the best IMO. I have the Fatal1ty and I've had no probs for about 5months now, Great Comfort, No negative Mic feedback, It will adjust to about any size head, and best of all it has surround sound HD speakers, what more could you ask for? Not to mention it is far cheaper than those 100+ sets. If you want Bang for your Buck I would choose the fatal1ty, otherwise the barracuda is a good high dollar set.
