A long time ago my Pavillion DV2200 gave out. I have stuff on the hard drive that I would like to retrieve so I bought an NexStar TX 2.5 SATA enclosure to access the still running drive. Everyone tells me that it would be a straight forward install, but when I tried to :( plug the HDD into the connector on the enclosure, the connection is wrong. I have a Fujitsu 2.5 SATA HDD model # MHV2120BH. The connections are close but they seem to be backwards. Did I get the wrong enclosure? Everything I could find on the web says that any SATA 2.5 will work. Where did I go wrong and point me in the right direction. Thanks.

HP laptops of that era had an extra adapter in their hard drives. Take it off, then it should fit in the enclosure.
