    Hi

I bought the HP notebook quickdock along with my HP Pavilion dv6500 notebook.

I got the external monitor to work when hooked up to the quickdock, but not always.....Is there a special order of hooking notebook to quickdock then turning power sources on? should notebook be powered down before hooking cable?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you
    Deborah

Press FN+4 to switch screens between the notebook and external monitors. I think it was FN+4 or 5

Or just go to the Nvidia control panel if you have an nvidia card
