So I was wondering what sites people used to get reviews for accessories such as printers, external hard drives, mp3 players, and so on.

I normally use cnet reviews to hunt around for products (and like their layout), but was wondering if there were other good sites.

I lost all my respect for cnet while I was doing research for what laptop to buy. They have a video review for the original Asus G1, it was an amazing laptop at the time. It had great reviews all over the net, except cnet. The idiot reviewer even said that it had a 17" screen. When it was really a 15" (LOL) :D

I like http://WWW.trustedreviews.com It's a British site, so sometimes I run into terms I'm not familiar with. And the currency is different, but they're still great reviews.

Yeah trusted reviews are quiet good. Oddly enough, I was also looking at the G1 once upon a time on Cnet...

Yeah, I kind of figured I should look elsewhere because I was using their search filtering to find an affordable light use printer. Of my 300 search results, only about 25 had been rated and reviewed, and listing them by rankings, they had lots of $500 printers getting higher ratings than a lot of multi-thousand dollar printers and even some budget ones mixed in between those pricy printers as well. Something was definently wrong, but they did help me pick out my Zen Vision M, external HD, and headphones (and they were all great buys!) :p

Try this site. Only just stumbled across it while looking for more shiny stuff to purchase. It focuses on video reviews. Not sure of its pedigree but you can decide that yourselves.

Completely concur with Crimson Roses and deathstick regards cnets reviews. I've watched reviews on that site while laptop hunting for Sony laptops where the reviewers appear completely oblivious about Sony's crapware issues slowing down the laptop boot time. They declared it was 'broken'. A quick google search shows its a well known issue and solvable, just not to cnet. If thats their level of knowledge I'll go elsewhere. I also don't trust their impartiality.
