Curious as to what other folks are using for a gaming mouse. I am currently using either a Bluetake BT500 bluetooth mouse or a Logitech Cordless Optical mouse. I figure there are better mice out there for games like Halo, FarCry, HL and HL2. Any suggestions?

Generally, cordless mice are not the best for gaming, 'cause of the lag. A better choice would be a USB optical mouse with a shape thats comfortable in your hand (theres nothin' worse than a gaming session with a mouse that has a weird shape). Or you could go for those pro-gaming mice like the Logitech mx510 and mx1000 or the Razer Diamondback series for ultra precision.

I think it all comes down to what the individual user feels comfortable with. I've used my Intellimouse optical for years and I'm fine with it...

Thanks for the tips. I went out and got both the Logitech MX510 and MX1000. LOL . . . Don't know which one to return. Worst case, I'll keep both. I am partial to cordless and the MX1000 fits very comfortably in my hand.
