Im looking for a controller game pad for my 1520, I was told that I could use a ps2 controller with some USB thing which would be ideal because in my case I will be using it to play Phantasy Star Universe which is a ps2 port game on pc. However If i can spend money on a good solid game pad I could do that as well, If any one knows where I can buy the Thing I need to plug in my ps2 controller to make it work as a game pad, or a good game pad for under 30 dollars please help Thanks!

Not sure about PS2 but, I know that the xBox 360's gamepad is the best as of now & all you have to have is a Microsoft Reciever & Windows Vista.

Oh man, there are so many choices in gamepads with usb. Just go to your local electronica store and pick out the one that feels good for you. I really like the Logitech chillstream myself (the silver one). It has a Xbox 360 layout but it is one of the few controllers that has the left analog stick in the upper position where the d-pad usually is.

I have the 360 wireless controller with the wireless receiver and it is pretty nice for gaming.

You can also save like $20 or so and get the wired 360 controller.

As I said, I really like mine for certain games, such as racing ones.

I personally would recommend the Logitech Dual Action Controller.(USB 2.0)
It has the Playstation 2 Form Factor and you can get it for a very low price.
It is supported by every game.
I used it with NHL 06 and 07 and with NBA Live 06.
It doesn't lag and for the low price I would highly recommend it.

I would just run with the keyboard controls for PSU. Its easier for the assigning of shortcuts and you won't have to sift through menus in real time combat trying to find a certain spell or item. If you really want a game pad though, you can't go wrong with the 360 controller.

Definitely go with the Logitech Wireless Rumblepad. Its only about $25 and the thing works wonders. It gets ridiculously long battery life. It has great range and is extremely rugged. And it works with everything.
