Just bought a ASUS G71GX 17"inch and I am looking for a backpack for it. Would like between $20-$60 and as cushioned as possible.

Online looking has me confused as some people report one fits their 17" while another reviewer does not. Heck on newegg I even saw a review where the first guy said his G73 wouldn't fit in said bag, 2 reviews down guy also claiming G73 said it fit fine!

So if someone can steer me the direction of a cushioned one that will definetly fit would be appreciated!

Targus XL Backpack TXL617 $49 free shipping should fit fine the G71, i own one and used to own a G71 (got stolen) and its big enough to fit in, and inside your budget. The backpack is decent, has crushing etc, and a lot of compartments and space to even fit books, cables and perif, but remember this is not a fancy or super high quality backpack, just something functional and big enough to carry your big 17''.

Swissgear Ibex. Same people that make the official swiss army knives makes these backpacks. The Ibex is awesome. I dont have one but I've seen them and they are uber quality.

I have been very happy with my Targus XL. I have used it for about 5 years first for a Sager 9750 and then a Sager 9262 both 17" laptops. Great durability. I travel almost every week for work so the backpack is in and out of overhead bins all the time. Laptop in and out at least twice a day.

Only con is that I would like more storage besides the laptop. A bit more room would be perfect.
