Alright guys i have had this problem now and i think i am getting two narrowed minded with tunnel vision so i need some help.

When i plug in my external HDD it reads and i can feel it spinning, but only the stupid OS reads (70mb partition on a 320gig)

I have moved it to every USB port

Checked Device manager and its only seeing that partition. I changed the letter of the drive, scanning for it, checked drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers

Heres the kicker, It works fine in my other laptop, pops right up with both partitions. and i can access everything

    Any ideas?

Have you tried running checkdisk on the partitions when they show on the other computer.

What File System are you using for each of your hard disk drive?
Are they both NTFS or is one of them HFS?
I remember my Windows computer cannot detect the HFS partition, but a Windows computer with Boot camp installed or a Mac can detect it.
