Can someone recommend a decent external CD burner please.
I'll mainly use it at home as a cd/dvd reader and use the built-in dvd burner in my notebook to burn cd's.
I've seen alot on newegg.com but I don't know about brands in those things...

Also what's the best software to do disk-at-once cd copies? My dad usually bugs me to burn him cd's and I'd like to do them without having to copy the songs onto my HD and then onto the cd.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Plextor exterior drives are usually among the best, I've never had a bad experience with them. For disk-at-once burning, I suggest Ahead Nero although any program should do the trick.

Lite-On burners have always trated me well.

If you feel like saving a few bucks, buy an OEM DVD burner and a 5.25" external enclosure, it works the same and you also get the OEM warranty(which is usually longer then the retail enclosures).
