    The Envy 14 measures: 9.3 x 14 x 1.1 inches
    Weighs; 5.2 pounds

School books are of various sizes and weigh upward of 15lbs.

I'm looking for a bag that will protect my new investment, while being roomy enough when needed for school books.
I know many of you are in University, so you have first hand experiences. So, give me the link to your favorite bag, and maybe we can get a sticky sorta thing going. One that lists hundreds of high quality bags for various sized laptops.

swissgear makes high quality stuff. I always use them and love them. They also make the official swiss army knife :)

Hmm, here is another idea. If i get a super padded sleeve to put it in, could I just put it in a normal backpack/book-bag that I use for school already?

yea that would be sufficient. Though regular backpacks dont lock moisture out. The swissgear backpacks have special sealing along the zippers that lock out moisture incase its raining. A nice feature to have.

Edit: Ohhhhhhhhh I am now a Notebook Deity thats right bow down to your god ;)

That is what I do with my Northface backpack. Keeps my books from crushing the screen to death.
