I'm thinking of buying a tv tuner for my lappie. Any recommendations on what brand of tuner would work best?

    Thanks in advance!

I have the E1505 and there is an Express Card slot in it. I read an article in 2005 that says that Avermedia is supposed to make the first TV Tuner for Express Card but I've yet to see one for sale online.

Just letting you know to keep your eye out for that. I hear it should have some improvement over PCMCIA TV Tuners.

There are a couple of TV tuners out for Expresscard/54 and one or two very pricery /34 types. There is one made by HP, one made by Komplett, And I think Avermedia has one out in the european markets.

    Thanks for the replies.

I was actually hoping for an external one. What particular brand would you recommend?

Hey. My friend has a Kworld 310U Usb2.0 hdtv tuner. he told me it was really good, that it works well with recording tv as well. I actually ordered one myself at buy.com where they have a $30 mail in rebate.
