    Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it??

    The external hard disk was working just fine and now when i plug it in, I cant read it! when i click on it to open it hangs the page!!

    help please!

    Hmm looks corrupted to me? Have you tried it in another port? Another computer?

    have tried with a diff cable and diff port.. about to try with another computer.. is there any chance of data recovery if it is corrupted..?

    I imagine yeah, There are options of recovery.

    Its most likely the connecting interface broke not actually the HDD inside.
    I have heard a few people have issues with the GO external drives packing up. They aren't really very "portable" devices I have been informed as a response when taking them back!

    If this is the case then a cheap ebay caddy is the way forward.
