I'm looking for a docking station for my laptop but not sure which to get. I have Thunderbolt 3 on my laptop but not sure if I need to utilize it.

I'm going to be hooking up:
    - 2 external 24" monitors.
    - keyboard and mouse
    - speakers
    - power for laptop (can be plugged in separately, not a big deal)
    - ethernet

I want to ensure that whatever I go with is going to work the same as if it was plugged in directly to the ports of the laptop. I've looked into the below options so far...

    Startech
    Dell

    Thanks!

Yup. Either one of those options would work for you.

Docking stations aren't too complicated. If you see one that has the features you want, then just get it and be done with it. It will do the job you need it to do.
