Can anyone tell me if these are any good. I have read mixed reveiws. If I have it in my backpack with several textbooks leaning on it will it keep its shape? Basically, how hard is the case material and of what quality. I would be getting the "L" size if that is important.

What about the Shinza Zeroshock? Which offers better protection?

might be off topic, but I just got a booq boa xl for my 17", and it is of extremely high quality and attention to details, no regrets here. they are among the most expensive out there, but you can tell the quality by just looking at them. I'm sure the vyper would be the same level.

I have the XL boa bag also......Excellent quality (large thick zippers, that slide open and close nicely). I'm not sure about the Vyper glove but the same materials are probably in each.
A few months after I got this bag, I accidently dropped it out of the truck I was in. Several cars ran over it and once I retrieved it I was amazed at the great condition it was in.
The bag didn't rip or tear, and only tire marks were on the bag. I used some windex on it and the marks came out.....
Great bag and once you handle it, you will see the quality of the bag and the materials they use.

Yeah, the boa is great, looks great and feels great. I just wish it wasn't so **** expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for.
