Hi,
Any advice for headphones of reasonable quality at a sensible price? (buying location: canada)?
I am about to receive my y410p and I was looking for a nice bluetooth headset - I was hoping if I could pair with laptop's bluetooth, it would save a usb port (plus it can be used with my mobile's bluetooth as well!)
PS, how are these?

how much are you willing to spend and would you consider in-ear headphones?

you can get in on thier beta pricing $119.99
I actually just placed an order after watching a bunch of review videos on youtube -
, I forgot the most important thign, price.
Sorry, I am as cheap as I am stupid. I am looking to spend no more then CAD 25~30
inear headphones, as long as they deliver quality, yes
But battery life should atleast be 3 hours -
i cant recommend anything in that budget, but if you want a good iem thats a little over your budget, i recommend jaybird freedom for about $70 USD ($78.11 CAD).

25-30 a 'sensible price' for 'quality' bluetooth... I think not. Consider at the very least doubling it.
Also depends on if you're using them for gaming... avoid practically any Bluetooth headset. The Astro A38 appears to be the first BT headset to support low-latency audio but that's only if your host end (i.e. the PC) supports it too.radji likes this. -
No I won't be gaming. It would be music, movies, skype etc over mobile or laptop.
I thought I could get a nice one, seeing I had a couple of logitech and sony for under 30

Motorola MOTOROKR S305 review - Engadget
but ok, how about under 50?
(also, if the headphones support BT 4.0, and my laptop has bt 2.0 or vice versa , will it connect/pair? -
Whatever you settle for, make sure they include a headphones input cord, ya know just in case you decide after a while that the whole bluetooth setup sucks and you still want to be able to use the headphones normally. You won't regret my advice. Expect your smartphone's battery to drop considerably while using bluetooth, interference, low quality audio, check the frequency range on the back of the package.

You can always get a reman pair of Motorola S9HD's for that price. They're a fairly old model, but they will sound very good for the price. I used mine like a redheaded stepchild for several years before they bit the dust. Battery life will be about 3-4 hours. Only big drawback is they're earbuds, which some people cannot stand.

Ok, thanks for your input guys. I see a few headphones of established brands like sony, logitech under $50 as well as few generic ones. I think I will probably go with
