Since my laptop supports Bluetooth I've been looking to see what accessories I might be interested in. I thought maybe listening to my mp3s wirelessly throughout the house might be useful. I know there are headsets out there, but are there any earbuds/earphones that are bluetooth ready?

Heh, I've looked long and hard for bluetooth earbuds, but no luck. It seems it should be doable (as there are bluetooth cellphone headsets barely larger than earbuds), just no one has. Not even regular headphones seem to be available in bluetooth models!

If you fnd any, I'd love to know where (and for how much).

Some are coming to market, Toshiba has a pair. I don't think they're real viable yet, you have to be close and the battery life is going to be pretty bad.

I've seen a pair of bluetooth headphones. They aren't small, though.

Creative has Bluetooth headphones, they are listed on the Dell Home users site, haven't made it over to the EPP/CPP site. From the description they also come with a headphone jack as well, because it says "standard mini jack can be pluged in to any mp3 player headphone jack. My XPC Gen 2 will not arive for a week at least (just ordered it early today, 5am-6am (almost missed 2 daay coupon found it half way through... talk about desitions under pressure).

Slightly off topic here, but is there some kind of bluetooth RCA jack? Basically I'm looking for a way to broadcast the music from my laptop to my receiver to play through my 6.1 surround system. This would be nice because I would eliminate some wires and I could leave my laptop in one place.

Not an RCA jack but companies are starting to offer wireless solutions, part of a push to take music to every room.

    May this would help.
I've tried listening music mp3s from my PC streamed to my bluetooth headset. It's a cellphone headset, but i was able to pick up music and also used it as MSN chat mic.

Just recieved my Creative headphones today... Sound is pretty good, for TV so far. The BT trannsmiter with the 3.5 mm cord is reminicent of the smaller Creative MP3 players, and uses 1 aaa battery. The headset uses 2. The both have a nice blue (I taking over the world) glowing light, to show connection. The Headphones are a nice Black, and beacuse of the BT adapter can be used on anything with a 3.5mm jack :) Will let you know how long the batteries last, then samme with monster AAA rechargables. (already had around the house.)

P.S. since ordering my XPS Gen2 on the 21ist 6am ish.. with the free ground shipping,
my arival date was origionaly Aug 1st, then became the 28th of July (as of the 25th.. :) and as of 7/26 it was 7/27!!!! ) My headphones had an estimated Aug8 delivery due to stock, arived TODAY!!!! Dell Rocks! Hoping to see if 7/27 is acurate.

The creative Bluetooth headphones have good quality sound and work well with both laptop and TV, or any device with a 3.5mm headset jack. Still testing bat life with both.

What headset are you using? I tried a Moto HS850 and the sound quality was quite poor. I want to be able to use the headset to listen to music via bluetooth on my Dell Axim x50v / 700m.

I am using the Creative Labs Blue Tooth headphones. These are the medium over the ear type, not ear buds, but they are black. I will snag a picture of them later or you can gollow the link in a previos post. By the way the bateries that came with them are standard duracel, the adapter lasted just over a day, the headphones lasted 2 . Who knows the quality of bats since they were in the package, I will give more clinical run down of the rechargeales .
