    Hello There,

What would be the best and fastest most reliable USB wireless adapter? for my Alienware Desktop PC.

I have a Mactintosh Airport extreme base station the old one that looks like a UFO.

    Thanks

    Where do you live?
Because that will have some bearing on people's recommendations.

    I recently purchased a D-Link DWA-142 USB wi-fi adaptor for my deskop for £5 + 99p shipping on eBay.
They're being sold by the clearance department of a major high-street retailer and come sealed with a full 1-year warranty.

The performance is excellent, even in Win7 which it doesn't officially support (there are driver out there if you have a look).
