You can get a free 1gig flashdrive if you look hard enough in your sunday paper. some of the stores will offer 1 gig drives free after rebate. Careful though some of them often force you to buy a laptop or a printer to get it.

This is an awful deal! I remember Staples had a 1 gb stick for $5 deal... I bought like 5 :)

The deals come and go, but don't pay more then $15.

It depends how fast of one you need. The Voyager GT is extremely fast. It's probably 5-10 faster than the ordinary generic ones. If speed doesn't matter, then just go for the cheapest one you can find.

Any flash drive with the "readyboost enabled" logo should be decent. Even if you don't use readyboost w/ Vista, the logo is applied to flash drives that have decent to fast read/write speeds.

I got a 4 GB one through dell with my 1520 for ~$50, not sure on the speed. It is the SanDisk 4GB Cruzer Micro U3 USB Flash Drive.

It's about $40 through other places though.
The $40 deal is through circuit city, not sure the limitations
