When I do a restart (thru the start menu) on my Dell 9400, this card does not turn back on. The lights turn green (vice blue) and I'm unable to do anything. I can't get to the network connection because it doesn't show up, it's as if the card isn't installed. Even if I pull the card out and re-install it, nothing.

It works fine if I simply log off (thru the start menu) and back on. It reactivates with no problems.

The only way it will reactivate the card is to turn off (thru the start menu)the PC and do a manual restart.

I'm pretty sure it's not the express card slot. I had a Linksys card for awhile which worked fine. I returned it because I didn't care for the design.

    any ideas?

See if there are any updated drivers from the manufacturers site. If that doesn't resolve the problem then exchange it for another brand. There may be some specific settings to look at if it came with a software interface.
