    Hello again guys,
I've been using one of those side bags to cary my laptop around but it is really unconfortable due to the weight (Sager NP8652+HUGE power brick), so im looking for a backpack.

    I've narowed into those already:
    - ECBC Javelin executive daypack
    - Osprey Nebula
    - Everki Chekpoint Friendly (Atlas, Titan, Flight and Concept)

They are all checkpoint friendly and I know the ecbc and everki are water resistant, all have very sturdy material and the osprey seems to be lighter and have more space than the others because they seem more focused on the notebook itself. This backpack will become also may daily and short travel pack when I'm not using my notebook.

Do you guys recomend any other backpack for me to buy? If not, wich of this should I choose?
I would love a more inexpensive one but durability and functionality are my priorities, since I'll use it for ever (or until it breaks).

    Thank you very much!

+1 for Swiss Gear, and they're quite cheap.

I haven't tried the swissgear laptop backpack stuff, but my Everki one has been going strong for over 4 years with very little wear and tear. So far it has been the sturdiest backpack I've gotten. It's an Everki Beacon btw.

For laptop use i though the Everki had the best features. My two problems are: I'm not sure wich of them to choose and I dont know if I can use as a normal daypack, when not carrying a laptop

The Everki Beacon has one large compartment in the middle, so you can potentially put a lot of stuff in there. If you want more compartments and be more organized, I think the Everki Titan might work.

My Swissgear bag is about 8 years old so it may not be typical of current production. It has a main compartment with a padded place for the computer and plenty of space for other things. It also has innumerable smaller pockets for other items and good padding on the back. It got a lot of use while I was commuting on a bicycle and had room for not just the computer but also waterproof clothes and lunch,.

The challenge with choosing a bag is deciding what size to get, which depends on how much you want to be carried. This thread is old, but the guidance and discussion may still be relevant.

I have an Amazon Basics laptop designed to fit a 17" machine. It seems durable and it very plain with no logos and no real indication it's a laptop backpack/bookbag. My Asus ROG G501 fits perfectly. It also has an extra slip pocket in front of the main laptop slip that fits my Surface 3 perfectly. 4 or 5 total zippered pouches for stuff, like my mouse, chargers, etc.
