Hello, i have a HP Pavilion 17.3 inch and i want to buy a backpack... i like the Wenger Ibex 17" but i don''t know if it will fit my laptop... I saw this backpack on amazon and they say it fits most 17", and my laptop is 17.3"... can somebody tell me if this backpack will work for my laptop? Any feedback will be appreciated!

Your link just took me to Amazon, so we can't see what one you are referring to. I have a Targus Drifter 2 which hold my MSI GT70 but the quality isn't all that great. I have been looking for a replacement and I went down to Best Buy ans Staples to try out the ones in stock as it's hard to tell online.

You could look through the questions and reviews to see if the specifically mention your Pavilion. I also think I saw that one in Best Buy, If you have one close by I would bring your laptop in and give it a try. In my experience some backpack taper at the top making it hard to fit some models.

Another problem might be the laptop protection foam or the design of the zips. The only way to know is to try the actual backpack. Otherwise, you could try to email Wenger and see what they say

Another thing to try is the eBags.com ... Backpacks ... Laptop Bag Finder
in which you enter the exact dimensions of your laptop.
