    link to targus

I was wondering if anyone, especially anyone with a Vostro 1500 or Inspiron 1520 had used this stand and know if it fits. It says fits 15.4" and smaller but the Vostro's a tad thicker than the norm apparently.

Also, if anyone owns it, what material is it made with? Any issues with it scratching laptop finish?

I prefer the Notepal S. Same inclination, and if you look around, you can find it for only a few bucks more. I've posted about it recently.

I have. You can get a notebook up to 2" thick in it. It's steel wrapped in a rubber coating which protects the notebook, table surface, and anything you put in the document/keyboard/etc holder.
