This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I've been looking and looking, but I can't seem to find it.

    Does any of you know of an alternative to the airport express/airtunes music streaming solution? I love the idea, but the airport is pricey, and besides that i'm addicted to the freedom of winamp.

    How hard can it be to make a router with a minijack/rca-out and a piece software for streaming the audio-out from the pc?

    Any suggestions for a wlan or bluetooth solution is highly appreciated!

    EDIT: Wireless lan is preferred... and oh, and no USB-dongle solutions. I already have bluetooth in my pc, and i hate dongles.
