I just reinstalled Windows 10 due to having the video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error previously.

After installing the latest drivers, both for the 980m and the GTX 970 via the Graphics Amplifier and several Steam games I get the BSOD with the message video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error.

Is there a fix that doesn't require me to reinstall Windows 10???

Where can I find the Alienware Graphics Amplifier drivers for my EVGA GTX 970?

I am assuming the GeForce Experience/NVIDIA drivers for the Amplifier are not compatible as I've had to reset my laptop 3 times to do "
    video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error" errors.

You need to use the mobile GPU drivers, not the desktop ones. In that case, using the ones from DELL.com should do the trick.
