Hi guys, I need a replacement screen for my 17R4 but every screen I have bought from ebay or aliexpress wasn't fully compatible. Some had brightness uniformity issues and all of them had no g-sync available in control panel. I have wasted enough money so I would like to ask if anyone also face this problem and where did he finally got a fully working screen with good brightness uniformity as the original one that ships from dell factory.
If also anyone wants to sell his screen due to upgrade to a 4k screen please also let me know.
    Thanks

You get what you pay for. Most of those panels on eBay and other sites are cheap knock offs or factory rejects. They are not actual Dell parts which is what you need to maintain full functionality- especially when it comes to gsync.

There’s a massive thread about switching panels. If you read through it you’ll find posts with seller information that other users have had luck with.

Do not buy anything that doesn’t have the Dell part number sticker on the back of it. Also avoid anything that says “compatible” or generic brand in the description. That’s a dead giveaway it’s not a genuine Dellienware part.

Of course you could always buy the panel from Dell. Most expensive route but it will definitely work and have a proper warranty
